Inspose

Inspose is an iOS App Prototype that was designed as a capstone project in the Interactive Media Design major at the University of Washington Bothell (read more at uwbimd2019.com). Inspose creates a unique learning environment for photographers to discover new locations near them. With the new-generation’s desire to find the best vantage points and take amazing Instagram photos, Inspose serves as their guide. The app features top local photographers who share their best photo locations. They also share in-depth tips on how to take great photos at each location. Inspose inspires and enables photographers to take better photos. I worked as the creative director and graphic / UI designer within a group of 5 other IMD students. I designed all of the graphics such as Logo, Brand Identity, Hi-Fi App Mockups, and our 8'x10' Exhibit Presentation Wall. I also directed, shot and edited our App Trailer. My team members were: Devyn Grillo (Project Manager & Developer), Roman Isakov (Lead Developer), Jimmy Seifert (UX Researcher) and Jeff Oh (Audio Engineer).

The Challenge

Our goal was to get the experience of thinking though every part of designing an app while addressing the problem space of how to take great photos somewhere near you. We aimed to dream big by thinking less about what is feasible to build, but more about designing a concept that could be very useful.
